COSCIENZA

DONNA, con un cuore in mano dinanzi a gli occhi, con questo scritto in lettere d'oro: oikela sinesis: cioè la propria conscienza, stando in piedi in mezzo un prato di fiori, e un campo di spine. La conscienza, è la cognizione, che ha ciascuno dell'opere, e de' pensieri nascosti, e celati a gli altri uomini. Però si dipinge in atto di riguardare il proprio cuore, nel quale ciascuno tiene occultate le sue secretezze, le quali solo a lui medesimo sono a viva forza palesi. Which sort of world do we live in? The culture of the IMAGE predominates:all is IMAGE!! television,cinema,internet:everywhere we are bombardated by pictures,videos,videogames...and by the big sea of ads which request to care our look (only):beauty treatments,fitness, surgery,all the ways should be tested to reach the destination of a perfect body! Why does no one press us to walking a different path instead? Leaving this world of outward appearances?Have we to go back to the words of ancient masters to reedeem our lives?-Take a look inside you... - they were used to say-and you will find a new love!-But Rumi also said:-Inside this new love...die!! - so I am wondering:- Should I die for real to find out the true myself and love? -We can't save ourselves ....anywhere!!
